Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion. The Senior Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of project management methodologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead complex, multi-departmental projects. The Senior Project Manager will also play a key role in establishing best practices, mentoring fellow project managers, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risk, and change management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting as necessary, to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Report on project financials, including forecasts, expenditures, and variances.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- For facility-related projects, serve as the main point of contact for contractors, architects, and engineers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Leadership
- Development and implementation of the strategic vision for the Program Management Office (PMO), aligning program goals with organizational objectives.
- Manage and utilize PMO tools to provide visibility into the project portfolio and ensuring prioritization of projects and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure all projects adhere to established standards and methodologies.
- Mentor other project managers, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and align deliverables with business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
- Facilitate meetings and communications with stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Risk Management and Problem Solving
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
- Lead problem-solving efforts to address delays, budget overruns, or other challenges.
- Escalate critical issues to senior leadership, offering recommendations for resolution.
Continuous Improvement
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for project management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve project management practices.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in project or program management, with 3-5 years in a senior role managing large, complex projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2, and CCM certifications are preferred. Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) and expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $126,000-159,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
