This position is located in Roy, UT.

What You'll Get To Do:
• Provides performance feedback, training, mentoring and coaching to your employees.
• Supports workforce planning and maintain sufficient depth and breadth of skillsets within your team's core discipline to meet program needs.
• Responsible for employee performance reviews and supporting employee career development.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, external stakeholders, peers, and employees.
• Supports development and refinement of processes and tools that support business areas and programs in achieving their missions.
• Supports proposal work, independent technical reviews, program standup and audits, and special assignments on an as needed basis.
• Supports employee engagement, hiring, development, training, attraction, and retention of top talent.
• Provide technical support to Sentinel program ensuring integration and effective collaboration with design teams to achieve program objectives, including but not limited to:
• Creates and implements 3D CAD (NX) models that define space allocation and interface detail.
• Supports/ controls cost account management activities.
• Supports the ICM team in capturing interface detail through design and board reviews.
• Implements program processes and engineering board approval processes for developed ICMs.
• Delivers required ICMs on time to meet program objectives.
• Integrates Interface Design ICMs with the various element teams to proactively eliminate disconnects and design clashes.
• Identifies gaps and holes within the design and/or requirements and provide a path forward for resolution that is cost effective, innovative, and has minimal impact to others while filling the gap/hole.
• Ensures the developed ICMs meet the design requirements from the various element/configured item specifications.
• Determines technical solutions in accordance with product specifications and recommend actions to representatives for coordinated product solutions.
• Supports digital transformation initiatives relating to ICM development and release.
• Provides mentoring and coaching on technical issues within your area of expertise.
• Performs risk analysis, trade studies, process improvement analysis, cost estimates, as applicable.
• Tracks to completion tasking and assignments for the team, assisting with workload balancing across team members, collecting metrics, and performing other project management functions as applicable.
• Ensures team members have the required tools and access to perform responsibilities.
• Collaborates with other engineering assignment managers/leads to align priorities and support overall execution of program objectives.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in DoD, aerospace, oil and gas, or nuclear regulated industries.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Minimum 1 year experience leading a project or cross-functional team and/or driving performance against schedule.
• 1 year of experience with systems engineering principles and processes.
• 1 year of proven knowledge of design tools including Teamcenter/NX .
• 1 year of proven experience to read and interpret technical drawings.
• 1 year of experience in creating an ICM or interface model like product.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• An active Special Access Program (SAP)
• Experience with GD&T principles and methodology
• ICBM experience
• 2 years of experience in a people leadership role, or 4 years of experience as a technical lead
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft teams, siemens Teamcenter or other life cycle management systems
• Experience in project management including control/cost account management, Microsoft project, and Visio
• 1 year experience with design and fabrication techniques for structural details, assemblies, and installations
• Experience working with chief engineers and Integrated Product Teams
• Experience working in Agile and digital design environments
• Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks, and mentor junior engineers
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to function in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and be flexible to changing direction
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations.
• Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
• Experience in leading/supporting a development engineering team
• Demonstrated experience working with customers to ensure project success

Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
