Job Description
BAE Systems Intelligence and Security sector is looking for a Financial Analyst to support various programs and miscellaneous task order awards. In this role, you will:
Review, process, and approve funding MODs that come from contracts
Prepare cost/fee adjustments to both contracts and project set-up as needed
Enter TDLs and task revisions in local financial system
Prepare subcontract PRs based on subcontractor provided quotes and allocated budget; review and approve subcontractor invoices in KTA
Prepare project setup forms to the project setup team can enter new charge numbers; review and approve prime invoices for billing submission based on project status report; prepare and submit cost estimates for the government
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports that are delivered to the customer
Prepare weekly limitation of funds notifications for submission
Prepare Contract Status Reports (CSRs) and Project Performance Reviews (PPRs) on a monthly basis
Assist finance managers with quarterly forecasting
Provide guidance and assistance to peers
Prepare and respond to data calls from upper management
Perform other related duties as assigned

The work schedule is 2-3 days in the office in California, MD and other days remote.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
-Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and at least 5 years of experience with government contracts/finance OR Master's degree and at least 2 years of related experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-CostPoint experience
-Experience with various financial reports such as Contract Financial Summaries/Project Status Reports, General Ledger reports, and Estimates to Complete
-Familiarity with financial/accounting software/databases including Financial Tracking System (FTS) and Contract Financial Information System (CFIS)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
