The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Global Benefits, as the Sr. Manager, Regional Health and Wellness Programs – Americas, you will lead and oversee the design, development, and execution of health and wellness programs across the Americas region. You will focus on promoting the well-being of employees, supporting a culture of health, and aligning health strategies with organizational goals. In this high-impact position, you will require strong expertise in regional benefits programs, strategic leadership, and financial acumen to drive financial impact with oversight of benefits value metrics, and continuous improvement. You will influence a team responsible for delivering these initiatives across the region. The Americas region currently includes Canada, USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Panama. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid
The Role:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of regional medical and mental health wellbeing programs that support the health, safety, and financial security of employees across diverse geographies.
- Develop and manage the budget for global benefits programs, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maintaining a high standard of employee satisfaction and wellbeing.
- Develop and manage in coordination with the Total Rewards Vendor Management and Budget office cost strategies for benefits, including ensuring that financial reserves are appropriately allocated, tracked, and optimized.
- Partner with Global Benefits brokers, in-region vendors, and internal leadership to implement and communicate benefits strategies and programs within geographical scope.
- In collaboration with Head of Global Benefits and in consultation with Global Wellbeing Steer Committee, design, implement, and oversee wellbeing programs and approach for enterprise-wide wellbeing specific to regions/unique needs of demographic.
- Manage benefit programs and renewals within geographic scope. Reviews trends and advises leadership on the state of programs/benefits, demonstrating an understanding of the market dynamics, key competitor benefit plan design, and industry trends.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for benefits programs, ensuring the alignment of benefits offerings with the company's financial and employee engagement goals. Analyze and present data on benefit utilization, costs, and overall program value.
- Oversee regular benchmarking studies to ensure CSL's benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards and employee expectations.
- Ensure global benefits programs adhere to local regulations, compliance standards, and cultural considerations across various regions.
- Work closely with HR leaders, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of wellbeing programs into CSL's global employee value proposition. Serve as the key point of contact for senior leadership on regional benefits matters.
- Lead the development of communication strategies that clearly articulate the value of physical and mental health wellbeing programs to employees, enhancing program participation and engagement.
- Mentor a team of benefits professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Support the growth and development of team members through guidance, training, and performance management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- Post - graduate qualifications preferred.
- 7+ years' experience in a regional benefits role, compensation experience a plus.
- English with Spanish and/or Portuguese speaker a plus.
- Experience with Workday desired.
- Experience with a variety of Outsourcing platforms or private exchange platforms.
