THE WORK
The field tech/engineer shall provide full time on-site field engineering and technical support services to site and other related technical support tasks as required. The field engineer will be the main point of contact for Lockheed Martin while at site. The field tech/engineer will perform day to day operations and planning with customer, sub-contractor and Program Management Office. Field tech/Engineer will assist military and government personnel to analyze and resolve potential delays detected during test and building of facilities. Responsibilities and taskings also include the following:
* Engineering and technical reviews
* System assessments
* Equipment light off checks
* Equipment functional checks
* Troubleshooting and equipment repair, to include support equipment
* Perform maintenance, fault isolation, testing
* Team Lead for onsite team consisting of system engineers, computer program developers, test engineers, technicians, and customer representatives to support host site testing readiness as required
* Provide daily and weekly briefings and verbal and written reports to leadership and other key functional and program organizations as required
* Unique hours may be required with time difference between site and home station

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with hardware, software, network test equipment used to evaluate and correct operational failures (i.e. fiber optic testers, multimeter's, o-scopes)
* Electronics troubleshooting
* Familiarity with technical publications and documentation
* Must possess a working knowledge of general-purpose test equipment, diagnostic tools, computers and computer programs
* Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
* Experience communicating to Military leadership teams and Senior Leaders
* Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
* Technical report writing skills
* Experience with technical drawings/schematics reading and interpretation.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
* Strong skills following established test procedures.
* Must be a US Citizen
*Proficient using MS Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
*Please Note: This position will require a TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
* Security + Certification
* PMP
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
