We are seeking Master's and PhD students majoring in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field for three 10-12 Week Student Intern roles in Gaithersburg, MD and Waltham, MA for a May 19th/June 2nd - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
This role has three separate headcount for the descriptions listed below.
Statistics Summer Intern:
Work closely with an experienced statistician on one statistical topic from clinical trials, such as Bayesian hierarchical models, estimands, and R programming.
Reference literature and regulatory precedent to develop a solution that is practical and valuable.
Present to a broad audience of Biometrics teams.
Position Requirements:
Master's and PhD students majoring in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Coding skills in R/RStan or SAS are a plus.
Formal training in Bayesian hierarchical models and exposure to early phase oncology trial design is preferred.
R Programming and simulation experience is required.
Time and self-management skills are required.
Microsoft Office experience such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing OPT support.
Ability to report onsite for 3-5 days a week. This role can provide relocation assistance to non-local candidates in need.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
