This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
Our dynamic team is responsible for all Comcast Subscriber forecasting, budgeting and analysis for the Western Division which includes the California, Texas, Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, and Midwest regions.
The team is comprised of five Finance and Business Intelligence professionals with diverse backgrounds and an array of experience and skillsets. It is our responsibility to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze trends and strategic initiatives to provide the company with the most accurate customer forecasts as possible.
Role Description

These are some of the cutting-edge areas that you will be engaged in during your internship as you participate with various projects undertaken by the team.
As an intern you will support the team in a fast-paced and exciting environment where you will leverage and develop creative problem-solving and predictive analytics skills as you assist with the gathering, organizing, synthesizing and interpretation of data to promote the forecasting process.
The intern will also be involved in the annual Subscriber planning cycle and be exposed to various talented groups and individuals, gain valuable experience in the Telecom industry, and learn highly in-demand technology platforms such as Alteryx and Anaplan.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides budget, forecast, and variance analysis and related reports as needed
- Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives, and determines emerging financial trends
- Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms
- Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly, and annual reports
- Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis
- Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related financial systems
- SQL & Tableau experience a plus
- Preferred Majors: Business, Statistics, Data Science, Finance
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2027)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
