Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance - Office of Financial Research. As a/an Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team to establish target architectures, governance, strategy, reporting, and requirements in support of OFR's cybersecurity program and ZTNA.
Duties
As a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:
- Manage the execution of Technology budgetary resources, reporting, and data calls. Recommends allotment levels and effective spending constraints in support of the office's cyber program.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of new technology and other developments affecting cybersecurity and information technology.
- Coordinate internal and external reporting requirements, briefings, and other forms of communications.
- Consolidate and analyze data, devise, and conduct assessment programs to identify areas of risk pertaining to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OFR systems.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience for the OR-60 (GS-14 equivalent): An applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the OR-53 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. Successful experience can be gained in the Federal service or its equivalent in state or local government or private sector organizations.
Specialized Experience for this position includes ALL of the following:
- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive security and enterprise architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and comply with standard frameworks such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and/or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOFAF); AND
- Experience leading cybersecurity projects and enhancements, from initial planning to implementation, utilizing agile methodologies; AND
- Experience establishing and implementing cyber governance frameworks to ensure effective prioritization, decision-making, and compliance; AND
- Experience developing, executing, and managing short-term and long-term cybersecurity strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
