We’re looking for a Telecom Field Specialist to to join our growing team as we lead the renewable energy transition to ensure exceptional reliability for tomorrow. In this role, you'll support the deployment and operation of ATC’s field communication network, which includes capital construction projects and operational support of routers, switches, multiplexors, and wide-area fiber optic infrastructure.
Essential Responsibilities:
You’ll use your associate degree in IT or related experience to support construction projects by determining communication needs, developing project scope, reviewing construction drawings, participating in project walk-downs and planning meetings, preparing network equipment for deployment, and supporting operational turn-up activities.
In addition, you’ll develop guides and standards, administer communication records, and participate in projects to improve and maintain the ATC wide area network. You’ll also work cross-functionally with ATC network field engineers to identify and repair issues within the communication infrastructure. This can include troubleshooting, equipment repair or replacement, and testing of fiber optic cable and communication circuits.
