The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines is seeking an Intern for a Training/Marketing Communications co-op position. This Intern will gain real-world, value-add experience leading and assisting with a variety of training and content marketing initiatives, specifically related to website, instructional videos, content creation and more.Accountabilities:
Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:
- Collaborate with the Mortgage Relationships Team as well as business partners to support various projects, specifically training videos, materials and other training communications.
- Create, edit, and build content for an external audience using multiple channels including website content and video.
- Develop the stages of content creation including updates, layout and design.
Qualifications:
- Junior, senior or graduate student working toward a degree in communications or marketing. Experience in content creation, digital marketing and communications a plus, but not required.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills including planning, organization, implementation and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, think critically, take initiative and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
- Video editing experience.
- Willingness to learn Marketo or other web platforms.
- Design skills a plus but not a requirement.
This is a full-time co-op position that would begin mid-May 2025 and run through December 2025.
Compensation Range:
Hourly: $22.00 - $22.00This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
