Job Description SummaryDo you like to see the big picture in support of day to day real time decisions? If so, we’re looking for a Transmission Reliability Administrator to ensure our transmission system is operated in a safe, reliable manner consistent with recognized utility practices.
Essential Responsibilities:
You’ll use your bachelors’ degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience to assist the outage coordinators and operations engineers in day-to-day analysis for planned outages, and author or support the development of MISO Operating Guides and ATC operating documents. You’ll use your knowledge of the operation of electrical transmission systems to maintain awareness of the reliability of the real time and expected transmission system and suggest mitigation steps to increase day-to-day reliability margins and collaborate in decision making for any significant system maintenance or construction work that may affect regional system reliability.
