The Team
Fidelity Digital Assets, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the Trading team. You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment.
This is a hands-on role where you will write code for product features. It is a great opportunity to build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services utilizing modern software development practices.
The Fidelity Digital Asset Trading Team is responsible for platform services and APIs that manage trading of crypto currency. Platform contains a crossing engine and a smart router that would connect and send client orders to other exchanges and liquidity providers. In addition to aggregating market data and routing orders the platform also includes multiple internal/external facing user interfaces and API and services to support the platform

We want to work with an engineer who is versatile, always eager to take on new problems and share solutions as we push the technology forward. FDAS Trading Team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help us move our trading platform into the future on a fast-paced, dynamic Agile squad.
The Expertise You Have
- BS or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
- 8+ years of technology experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments with focus on financial technologies particularly electronic trading.
- Successful technology and business solutions engineer with experience leading highly skilled teams
- Proven experience in high-volume, low latency real-time messaging applied to electronic trading
- Comprehensive experience in overall end-to-end Software Engineering in an agile environment
- Ability to help clarify user requirements and define accurate use cases
- Proven hands-on development skills with technology leadership
- Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
The Skills You Bring
- You have string experience in Web/UI development using HTML / CSS / JavaScript, Angular development
- You have Experience in server side technologies like Java, but some Node.js/NPM is highly preferred
- 3+ years minimum of advanced JavaScript development skills is required.
- You are experienced in consuming REST Web Services is highly preferred
- Additional expertise with other technologies like JQuery, Backbone, Require, Bower, Browserify, or other advanced JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Cypress, Angular nx, ngrx store.
- Preferred knowledge on ag grid.
- Strong knowledge on JEST unit testing framework.
- You are experienced in modern web application packaging and deployment using Yeoman, Grunt / Gulp is a huge plus.
- You are experienced with Ant/Maven, Nexus, Git/Jenkins or NPM is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and strong problem resolution skills are required.

The Value You Deliver
- Activities will involve development, automated testing, meeting with technology peers (including architecture) to work through technical designs, supporting other developers on the team with their work, and participating in Agile ceremonies
- Playing a key role in the full project life cycle for complex projects across multiple teams.
- Participate in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications.
- Ensuring code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Helping to coordinate the delivery of technical components across technical teams.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00-95.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
