Who we look for:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience.

* Clear understanding and application of methodologies associated with project planning.

* Experience working with collaborative cross-functional teams.

* Effective communication through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.

* Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability, and lean manufacturing tools.

* Familiarity with 2D & 3D modeling, preferably in AutoCad and/or Inventor.

What you'll get to do:

* Utilize effective lean process design techniques to optimize the performance of our manufacturing system.

* Plan, organize, and lead the technical aspects of large-scale assignments.

* Create training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processes.

* Identify causes of process variation using the scientific method.

* Recommend and drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving.

* Ensure built-in quality by using DMAIC tools such as process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, and Control Plans.

* Accurately assess ergonomic conditions within the manufacturing environment and provide practical solutions to eliminate ergonomic risk.

* Exhibit persuasiveness to sell continuous improvement ideas to value stream management and delivery partners.
