This position is for an Engineering Services Test Technician who is under direct supervision at Interiors Engineering Development Lab (EDL). Performs moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. May serve as a resource on varied tasks. Primary Responsibilities

This position is for an Engineering Services Test Technician who is under direct supervision at Interiors Engineering Development Lab (EDL). Performs moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. May serve as a resource on varied tasks. Primary Responsibilities
- Works with peers / engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
- Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results.
- Occasional overtime including weekends will be required.
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum 3 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with variety of hand tools
- Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive
- Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment
- Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast -paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment
