36Summary:
Functions in collaborative practice with physician(s) and advanced practice providers (APP) in the Emergency Department (ED) setting. Provides emergency nursing care as delegated by the registered nurse or directed by the physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s), including patient focused assessment, intervention, procedures and education. Skillfully and consistently performs daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Certification/Licensure:
- 1. Current permit or license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
- 2. Current BLS
- 3. Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center
