40Summary:
The Chaplain will provide spiritual leadership for the medical center in the areas of pastoral care, ethics, and bereavement.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
Master's degree with major coursework in theology and counseling.
4 Units of CPE or equivalent in clinical training, or extensive pastoral leadership experience.
Ability to work in interfaith, multicultural environment, excellent written/oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills: mature judgment; good boundaries, team player.
Work history demonstrating strong pastoral work ethic.
Demonstrated willingness to go the extra step.
One year chaplaincy experience preferred.
Ordination and/or Endorsement, as appropriate to candidate's faith group.
Spanish/Bilingual Preferred
