The Senior Compliance Specialist focuses on the various aspects of compliance and data integrity of our internal systems and documentation. This role is responsible for several areas of government reporting such as EEO/VETS, reporting and analysis of our Affirmative Action plan, and may be involved in other Global mandatory reporting as assigned. The role will also support the response to various HR audits. This individual will work with internal stakeholders to ensure best practices are followed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Government Reporting: Maintains the vendor relationship and coordinates data and preparation of our annual Affirmative Action plan, EEOC and VETs on time filings in partnership with the HRIS & Payroll teams.
Internal and External Client Audits: Works with Global partners to gather supporting documentation and ensure all data requests are responded to in a timely manner.
Facilitate changes in practices, policies, and systems in support of applicable legislation or compliance requirements.
Projects: As we continue our HR transformation there will be opportunities for this position to support HR Compliance related projects which enable Genesys to continue growing and scaling the business.
Support: Provides ongoing support and guidance to employees on HR practices, policies, and employment regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of North American employment practices required; global experience highly desired.
5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on regulatory compliance and HR operations.
Strong analytical and project management skills, a meticulous yet flexible approach to problem solving.
Ability to work independently with general direction.
Demonstrates pro-active enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company.
Maintains a current level of professional knowledge.
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$76,400.00 - $142,000.00Benefits:
