Description:Conduct mission/program specific real time spacecraft/satellite flight operations during readiness, execution and evaluation phases. Develop detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on-orbit satellites. Provide technical direction for on orbit mission support, plan for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommend alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Provide failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data. Utilize system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommend improvements. Analyze and validate software performance. Perform flight length orbit adjust and daily special event studies.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.

Periodically, the selected candidate maybe required to work rotating shifts determined by mission need. Occasional call-ins and travel are required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with RF operations and testing
* Experience with system architecture and adversary systems
* Experience in leading coordination efforts of integration and interoperability between multiple organizations
* Experience with solving complex and/or parallel problems
* Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work within a dynamic operational environment
* Strong organizational skills and ability to pivot within a dynamic operational environment
Desired Skills:
* Experience with satellite operations
* Collaborative mindset toward internal continuous process improvement and external customer interactions
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
