The Senior Manager will actively and strategically manage and support the global patent litigation portfolio by providing comprehensive paralegal, data management and analytics support to the global patent litigation team through critical thinking and problem solving, a high level of organization and proactive, collaborative, agile, creative, and curious work practices
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Patent Litigation: Assist the patent litigation team with day-to-day case management including case intake and tracking and managing patent litigation docket and calendar.
Documentation and Records: Organise and maintain case files, documents, and records, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organised for quick reference.
Client interaction: Coordinate with and provide support to internal clients from across the IP function and wider business. Serve as a direct point of contact for Sandoz internal client base handling inquiries and providing case updates.
Data management: Manage, curate and lead the timely and accurate recording of case data using our data tools.
Administration: Handle administrative tasks such as matter creation, diary management, invoicing and budget tracking.
What you'll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
At least 5 years of patent litigation paralegal experience, including law firm paralegal experience
Highly proficient English is required
Familiarity with and understanding of patent litigation practice (ideally in multiple jurisdictions), and the ability to administratively manage all phases of a patent litigation matter
Experience managing complex and sometimes ambiguous projects, with a broad set of stakeholder
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, and to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight time-frames with a high attention to details
