About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager to lead the Consumer, Small and Business Banking (CSBB) Debit Operations, Systems and Transaction Processing functions. This role will report directly to the Head of CSBB Debit Card, Wallets & Emerging Payments and will be responsible for developing an optimal transaction processing and settlement environment by effectively managing the processes, procedures, controls and programs in coordination with card production that support driving market leadership for the largest debit portfolio in the U.S. for nearly 40 million Wells Fargo consumer and business customers.
This strategic leader will manage a team of business execution consultants, in close partnership with Card Production and Issuance, responsible for driving the optimization of authorizations, decline rates and numerous third-party engagements and relationships with network providers as well as adherence to Visa and Mastercard network rules and regulations and Visa DPS for Debit Cards, Wallets and tokenization services.

In this role, you will:
Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for the core Debit business, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or key partners affected by its outcomes
Identify business execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement, efficiency, quality improvements and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency throughout the debit card product management life cycle and customer experience from end-to-end
Integrate and interface with critical internal partners across Card Production and Issuance, Card Programs and Features as well as extended partners across digital channels, branch network and customer contact centers.
Lead business execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
Efficiently manage allocation of talent and financial resources for business execution
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to create high performing teams and high employee engagement across all functions to meet business objectives and strategy
Interact directly with third party suppliers, including networks, processors, merchants, ATM drivers and other payments related industry partners
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Strong understanding of consumer payment industry transactional processing strategies, third-party management policy and consumer compliance requirements related to payment products (REG E, UDAAP, BSA/AML, OFAC)
Demonstrated expertise managing large scale programs and being able to deliver at scale in a highly regulated and fast changing environment
Expert verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
Strong Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively communicate, create and deliver dynamic presentations to all levels of the organization
Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment activities and programs
Strong relationship management and proven leadership skills, with solid conflict management, negotiation, and organizational effectiveness techniques
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Experience providing horizontal oversight and managing multiple high priority functions

Pay Range:
