Our team of 22,000 people across 19 countries, serves more than 3.5 million individual, small business and institutional clients. Job Description

We are evolving our Early Careers model to drive a more consistent enterprise approach that supports scalability, efficiency, and strong outcomes. Early career roles represent a significant proportion of our hiring and are critical to building our future talent pipeline. As we continue to scale our early careers programs, there is an opportunity to further align approaches across business lines, improving efficiency, consistency, and long-term talent outcomes. This role will be critical in translating that strategy into practice - driving adoption, embedding new ways of working, and delivering measurable enhancements that deliver continuous improvement across the US and EMEA.
This role will lead a team across the US and EMEA and partner closely with India-based teams to support delivery. There will be close collaboration with Talent and other Talent Acquisition Leads to align early careers pathways to long-term mobility and build a more joined-up approach to address pipeline gaps across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the Early Careers strategy into scalable hiring approaches, using data, stakeholder feedback, and market insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Embed and govern enterprise standards across attraction, assessment, selection, and hiring delivery to improve consistency, quality, and scalability.
  • Partner with business leaders to anticipate talent needs and build proactive Early Careers pipelines aligned to future workforce requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across Early Careers hiring, including campus, graduate, and entry-level talent pipelines.
  • Strengthen hiring outcomes through data-led decision making, with accountability for conversion, offer acceptance, retention, mobility, and candidate experience.
  • Drive adoption of a structured and consistent hiring model, simplifying delivery, reducing duplication, and leveraging automation where appropriate.
  • Partner with Talent, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition peers to connect Early Careers hiring to career pathways, internal mobility and long-term leadership pipeline objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Talent, and TA leadership to strengthen Ameriprise's position within the Early Careers talent market and enhance attraction outcomes across key talent segments.
  • Build and lead a scalable global delivery model across the US, EMEA, and India-supported teams while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing global Early Careers team, creating capability, consistency, accountability, and strong business partnerships across regions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, with 2-3 years experience leading an enterprise program.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex HR initiatives, including project management, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of measurable outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive adoption of enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Experience building scalable operating models across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven track record leading complex recruiting transformations or business-critical workforce initiatives.
  • Proven ability to turn strategy into practical execution and drive change at scale
  • Experience leading and developing high performing teams
  • Strong understanding of hiring processes and applicable regulatory and legal requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to improve hiring outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading Early Careers or high-volume hiring within a complex organization
  • Experience operating across global environments
  • Familiarity with leveraging technology and automation to scale recruiting delivery
  • Experience partnering with external organizations to develop talent pipelines

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $115,000 - 157,400 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
