Employer Liaison - Part Time

Join our Team in North Central MA region as an Employer Liaison!   Our ideal candidate will be professional who takes initiative and is flexible, enthusiastic, creative, and comfortable working in a team as well as autonomously!      Overview of the Employment Collaboratives  The Central Mass Employment Collaborative is a consortium of state agencies and human service providers, employers, workforce development organizations, and employment service providers. CMEC works across these groups with the common goal of increasing employment opportunities for individuals across all disabilities. Their efforts focus on broadening the types of employers providing opportunities for the individuals they serve and enhancing access to career-oriented training and resources. Riverside started the Collaborative program in 2009 focusing on the Central MA area to streamline the process of finding and hiring individuals with disabilities. After award-winning success in that region, we were asked to expand the program to many additional parts of the state. We are incredibly proud of this program and the impact it has in the communities we serve. In FY 2026 alone, around 800 individuals found employment through these services.       Primary responsibilities include assisting the CMEC Sr. Project Coordinator by:
  • Leading strategic job development and job placement planning activities across the region
  • Initiating employer contacts at all levels of organizations
  • Developing job leads in numerous industries at all levels of organizations
  • Assisting community organizations that participate in the Employment Collaborative by creating job opportunities, job offers and training opportunities.
  • Implementing best practices for job search and placement, placement strategies, activities and events to increase employment outcomes
  • Presenting information to Corporations, Employment Associations, State and Local Organizations

Schedule: Part Time, 20 hours

Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel required within Massachusetts.

  • Candidates from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire will be considered.

 Pay Rate: $26.51/hourly

Required Skills

  • Exceptional, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and time-management skills
  • Adept at computer skills using MS office suite and ability to work on various internal platforms such as MS Teams, etc.
  • Ability to use social media, technology, inhouse platforms and systems to manage tasks
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license 
  • Occasional local travel for work-related meetings and events required

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 3-5 years previous experience in a business setting in a role requiring extensive follow up and communication
  • Previous experience in human resources, sales, or marketing/public relations preferred and/or previous experience working in employment services for individuals with disabilities, or related personal experience a plus
