Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Graphic Designer, Print & Packaging to support the creation and production of high-impact marketing, sales, and packaging materials for multiple consumer brands. This onsite contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong print production expertise who can confidently manage projects from concept refinement through final press-ready delivery while collaborating with creative, marketing, and production teams.
  • Location: hybrid in Lutz, FL (also open to remote)
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Schedule: 30-40 hours per week
  • Experience Required: 3+ years of professional graphic design experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, product literature, retail packaging, trade show graphics, and other print marketing materials.
  • Create production-ready artwork and prepare press-ready files for commercial printers and packaging vendors.
  • Develop packaging layouts, apply die lines, and ensure designs meet production and manufacturing specifications.
  • Manage prepress preparation, file setup, image resolution, color accuracy, and print production requirements.
  • Prepare files for offset, digital, and large-format printing processes.
  • Review proofs and production files to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy before release.
  • Coordinate revisions, updates, and version control while maintaining organized project files.
  • Partner with creative, marketing, product, and cross-functional teams to execute projects aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to support successful production and delivery of printed materials.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong focus on print and packaging design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of print production workflows, prepress processes, and preparing press-ready files for commercial printers and packaging vendors.
  • Experience designing catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, retail packaging, trade show graphics, and other print marketing materials.
  • Hands-on experience with die lines, offset printing, color management (CMYK, spot colors, Pantone), bleeds, trims, and packaging production specifications.
  • Ability to review proofs, ensure production accuracy, and manage projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Experience working with print vendors and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple projects.
  • Preferred: Experience with consumer products, retail brands, large-format graphics, trade show displays, and packaging manufacturing processes.
