Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives and HR strategy with employees and management across business sites. The HRBP builds effective partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added guidance and support that influences the actions and goals of the organization. This position supports the areas of employee relations, training and development, talent and performance management, onboarding, and recruiting.
Essential Function and Responsibilities
- Facilitate a positive work environment of fairness and consistency in dealing with and engaging employees and business partners. Strive to ensure that every interaction with employees is reflective of a values-based organization.
- Design, implement & facilitate an Employee Orientation & Onboarding program.
- Be a change champion as MegaFood's business evolves, changes, and grows
- Drive the culture and positive employee experience across client groups.
- Partner with HR Centers of Expertise and Leadership to assist in the transition to a shared-resources model
- Work with hiring managers to identify talent needs, partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to source and build a diverse and high-performing team
- Designs & conducts exit interview process; analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the management team on employment decisions.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues within assigned client groups; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations; provide advice, counsel, and coaching to managers.
- Interprets HR policies and procedures to provide guidance management across designated client groups.
- Propose revisions to internal documents, police,s and communications to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Responsible for engaging in timely well-documented interactive processes with employees in need of a reasonable accommodation.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping abreast of new legislation and legal updates.
- Establish and maintain a deep understanding of assigned partner function(s) and the overall business; build credibility and trust with managers and drive change, embed, and sustain a high-performance culture.
- Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans at a local level.l
- Performs data analysis to proactively identify trends & provides necessary reporting to business functions
- Establishes and maintains strong, positive, and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization and provides proactive consultation to managers
- Work with site leadership to assess employee engagement and develop action plans to ensure a diverse, inclusive, and engaging workforce.
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Organizational Development
- Experience in manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods setting preferred
- Strong functional capabilities with talent expertise; understanding and some experience in multiple areas of HR (e.g. talent acquisition; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
- A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Driven by a strong internal desire to impact the organization; has a track record of success in delivering HR solutions that enable the achievement of business strategies and priorities
- Change management experience.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Expertise in developing solutions and influencing others utilizing facts/data analytics
- Knowledge of federal and local employment laws from wage and hour, discrimination, to reasonable accommodations, etc.
- Strong project management capabilities and experience leading projects to resolution
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment; and ability to navigate ambiguous business situations
- Must perform with a consultative style and approach with proven ability to foster credible relationships with business partners and to effectively influence them
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations at all levels within an organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Workday, ADP, and other HRIS web-based applications.

$69,700.00 - $104,550.00This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
