Job Description:

Position:IT Architect
Location:Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite
Duration:12+ month contract
Overview:This role involves understanding technical business requirements and defining architecture solutions that align with our companies' patterns and standards. The IT Architect will lead and shape the loan originations portfolio as we embarkon its transformative modernization journey, working with a SaaS product and its integrations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business drivers and capabilities (current and future state) to determine enterprise system designs and change requirements.
  • Apply emerging technology trends and disruptions to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Collaborate with product owners and managers to ensure a robust architectural runway supporting future business requirements.
  • Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to align solution decisions with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives, documenting all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Analyze the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy issues, and technical debt, recommending solutions for improvement.
  • Support product managers in end-of-life (EOL) product decisions to maintain, refresh, or retire products, services, or systems.
  • Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of projects or products.
  • Provide architecture solutions to modernize existing on-prem systems and promote cloud migration.
  • Articulate new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
  • Work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions.
Required Skills:
  • Understanding of business drivers and capabilities, and ability to determine corresponding enterprise system designs.

  • Definition of principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns.

  • Support for product managers in EOL product decisions.
  • Management and development of architecture for broader projects or products.
  • Provision of architecture solutions for system modernization and cloud migration.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translation of future-state business capabilities into solution architecture requirements.
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, data management, EDA, and cloud development.
  • 2-3 years of recent experience as a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Spring Boot REST APIs.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of full-stack and microservices architectures, with hands-on experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular, React, ReactNative, and GraphQL.
  • Hands-on experience with two of the three cloud areas: AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Ability to set up a DevOps pipeline for end-to-end automated deployment.
  • Understanding of high-performing enterprise web and mobile application development.
Preferred Experience:
  • GCP Certification.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Cloud.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree.
