What's the role
You are a part of the Americas Health team responsible for delivering the health strategy to your key stakeholders - a defined employee population and or a line of business/function. This also includes ensuring compliance with local legislation as well as being customer centric. You provide substantial occupational health nursing input and professional leadership as a Senior Occupational Health Nurse for Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Norco and US East Lubricants/Grease plants (Brockville, Fowlerville, River rouge). This will be through leveraging the Shell Health core competencies of health expertise, science, collaboration, and business intimacy.
What you'll be doing
Lead and manage the health of staff at Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Norco and US Lubricants/Grease plants East (Brockville, Fowlerville, River Rouge) with care and compassion, following protocols
Plan, develop, and assist in executing Health Promotion and Performance activities in US East, collaborating with local teams and regional health performance and promotion experts
Work through Shell Health protocols and processes, including Disability Management, to deliver agreed KPIs independently, adapting protocols to local or individual needs
Advise key internal stakeholders (employees, HR, and lines of business) on occupational health topics, potentially serving as the local focal point for specific areas such as ergonomics and disability
Maintain and manage all records related to occupational health nursing issues
Provide nursing or clinical treatment to eligible employees with injuries or illnesses
Collate and escalate issues from the frontline horizontally to asset specialists, collaborating with central teams to deliver standardized, optimized solutions
Coach, supervise, and support less experienced colleagues
Promote and implement Shell Health activities and programs to improve the physical, mental, and social health of your population, enabling them to perform at their best
Leverage existing expertise from asset class specialists when addressing business issues and requests.
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis for any employer other than the current one
Registered Nurse License required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in occupational health departments, with a proven track record of delivering health outcomes and positive customer experiences
Proficiency and affinity for electronic medical records and IT systems
Commitment to ongoing learning and continuous professional development
Learner mindset, fostering inclusivity and psychological safety to identify improvement opportunities, innovation, and efficient ways of working
Ability to collaborate (business partnering) and integrate across boundaries to maximize value for Shell as a whole

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
