We are seeking sophomores and junior students majoring in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or MIS for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
This is a project-based role within the Commercial IT division. Various IT responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technology research
- Business case development
- Requirements documentation
- Project management
- Architecture blueprints
- Portfolio management
- Test script writing
- Test execution
- UAT (user acceptance testing) support
- Status updates and ad-hoc projects.
Position Requirements:
Sophomores and junior students majoring in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or MIS.
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Proficiency with MS Office
Coding Skills such as Python, Java, and SQL are a plus but not required
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
