Overview
Repligen Corporation (NASDAQ: RGEN) is a life sciences company and bioprocessing tools provider focused on developing, producing, and commercializing high-value consumable products used in manufacturing biological drugs. We are seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Systems Engineer to join our OT Infrastructure team, who will assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports our industrial control systems (ICS). This includes monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, recommending system improvements, and collaborating with other teams to ensure system availability and performance. The successful candidate will appreciate researching and learning about technologies new to them, and incorporating security best practices into system designs.
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot servers, networking equipment, and other IT systems
- Generate and maintain OT/IT system documentation
- Monitor system performance and recommend system improvements
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's ICS IT server, client, and network infrastructure
- Interface with other various departments to ensure systems meet requirements and provide technical support
- Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to ensure smooth system integrations
- Solicit help from vendors and 3rd party support entities as needed
- Ensure compliance with ICS security best practices
- Keep up to date with the latest ICS and IT technologies and industry trends
- Travel (<10%) to facilities as necessary for project execution or other needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2-3+ years of experience in an IT systems engineer or administrator role; experience with, or exposure to, manufacturing systems is a plus
- Experience maintaining Windows and Linux servers, networking equipment, and IT systems, with comfort maintaining headless servers and using command line interfaces
- Experience with server virtualization technologies
- Experience with coding or scripting languages is a strong plus
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of ICS system architecture, protocols, and communication systems is a plus
- Exposure to ICS technologies such as PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems is a plus
- Experience maintaining ICS application servers is a plus
- Familiarity with security best practices, particularly for ICS, is a plus
